सरकार छह सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कंपनियों में अल्पांश हिस्सेदारी बेचने की योजना बना रही है। इससे और अन्य एसेट मोनेटाइजेशन से सरकार का लक्ष्य 47,000 करोड़ रुपये जुटाने का है। निवेश एवं सार्वजनिक एसेट प्रबंधन विभाग (दीपम) के सचिव अरुणिश चावला ने बताया कि इस साल एक प्राकृतिक संसाधन क्षेत्र की कंपनी पब्लिक इश्यू लाएगी।
रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार ओएनजीसी अपनी ग्रीन एनर्जी यूनिट और एनएचपीसी अपनी रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी यूनिट को लिस्ट करना चाहती है। डिसइन्वेस्टमेंट से सरकार की आय और डिविडेंड में बढ़ोतरी की उम्मीद है। वर्तमान में पीएसयू कंपनियों का बाजार हिस्सेदारी लगभग 14% है, लेकिन वे 25% डिविडेंड देती हैं। सरकार को भरोसा है कि स्थिरता आते ही लक्ष्य पूरे हो जाएंगे।
